Thaipusam festival is celebrated by the Tamil and Malayali communities on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February). The Hindu devotees start their procession in the early morning, carrying offerings like milk pots or piercing spikes on their body travelling from one temple to another.
It is a very special celebration, where you can witness the devotees with piercing spikes walk along the streets, during their journey they will be blessed and dancing in some stations.
All are welcome to join and witness this celebration, the community is very generous to share their blessed food. These photos are taken 2020.
